UTAH OLYMPIC PARK
The Utah Olympic Park is open daily, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There are guided tours on the hour from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Museums are free to explore. The winter Comet Bobsled Rides and Rocket Skeleton Rides are now open for the winter season. Bobsled rides are Tuesday through Saturday and Skeleton rides are Fridays and Saturdays. SOLDIER HOLLOW CROSS COUNTRY
Soldier Hollow, near Midway, offers cross-country skiing for beginners to experts on the site of the 2002 Olympics. The trails are open daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Soldier Hollow is reporting 13 groomed trails totaling 25K. On Saturday, Dec. 29, Mountain Trails reported 15K of groomed trails including Quinn's, Oz, Matt's Flat lollipop, Ability Way, Silver Quinn and RV Express from the Highland side to Lower Quarry Road and up Two Pines. However, the inner valley trails have minimal coverage. The Rail Trail from Bonanza to Richardson Flat is also groomed.
