DEER VALLEY RESORT
Deer Valley website's countdown clock Tuesday morning showed that opening day (Dec. 7) was only 213 days, 15 hours, 14 minutes and 58 seconds away. In the meantime, there's the summer season, which officially runs June 14-Sept. 2. UTAH OLYMPIC PARK

PARK CITY GOLF CLUB
The Park City Golf Club is open. Off-season rates are in effect until May 24. The cost for a resident (living within the Park City School District boundaries) is $26 to play 18 holes, or $41 with a cart. For a non-resident, it's $30 for 18 holes, or $45 for a cart. WASATCH MOUNTAIN GOLF COURSE

JORDANELLE STATE PARK
Located on Jordanelle Reservoir just east of Park City, Jordanelle State Park offers camping, boating, fishing and swimming. Hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Daily fees are $10 per car at Hailstone, $7 at Rock Cliff. Annual passes are $75. For information call (435) 649-9540.
Mountain Trails reports that everything in Round Valley is dry. The Lost Prospector, Gambel Oaks, Solamere, Masonic and Snowtop trails are all good to go. Basin Rec reports that all trails in the Glenwild area are open. However, please turn around when you encounter mud on Flying Dog. There are still mud holes on the Glenwild Loop, Mountain Ranch Estates, Princess Di, South Canyon, Moose Hollow and The Avenues. All of the mid-mountain trails, as well as Short Stack, Road to WOS and Short Ribs, are still closed due to snow and mud. WASATCH-CACHE NATIONAL FOREST
The Kamas Ranger District maintains several cross-country ski and snowmobile trails in the Uinta Mountains east of Kamas. However, the Beaver Creek Trail is closed for the season.
