Park City Mountain Resort has switched over to its late-season operating schedule. It will be open from 1-6 p.m. Sunday through Friday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays. The Crescent lift and Town Lift are closed Monday through Thursday. From now until Oct. 6, the lifts at Canyons will operate only on weekends (Thursday through Sunday). The gondola will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. those days, with the High Meadow lift and Short Cut lift open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Ride the gondola to reach the Canyons Bike Park, with features for all skill levels, along with hiking and biking trails, Zip Tour adventures, disc golf, and an alpine lake with paddleboats and fishing. UTAH OLYMPIC PARK

WASATCH MOUNTAIN STATE PARK
This state park near Midway has facilities for hiking, biking, camping, horseback riding and camping as well as two 18-hole golf courses. JORDANELLE STATE PARK
Located on Jordanelle Reservoir just east of Park City, Jordanelle State Park offers camping, boating, fishing and swimming. Hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
