When the Egyptian Theatre, 328 Main St., presents the Motown Sounds revue this weekend, it will celebrate this music.

The concert, which is a Big Easy Entertainment production, will feature the music of the Temptations, the Supremes, the Jacksons, Smokey Robinson and Marvin Gaye.

Performances will be Friday, June 7, through Sunday, June 9. Friday and Saturday evening curtains are at 8 p.m. There will be a Saturday matinee at 5 p.m. Sunday’s show will begin at 6 p.m. Tickets range from $29 though $50 and they can be purchased at .
