Park City Wine Club welcomes spring with tastings

Park City Wine Club, which meets every month at local businesses to learn about and taste different wines with food pairings, will host two spring events next week.

• A Taste of Spring with Park City Wine Club

Park City Wine Club’s A Taste of Spring, a tapas, wine education and pairing event will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, at Jeremy Ranch Country Club, 8770 Jeremy Rd.

The country club’s chefs will creates tapas that will be paired with various wines to usher in spring

The cost is $55 for Park City Wine Club members and $60 for their guests. Participants must be age 21 and older.

• Park City Wine Club Cooking Demo

Park City Wine Club will present a cooking demo with wine at 6 p.m. Friday, March 29, at Mountain Town Olive Oil, 613 Main St.

The session will take place in the back tasting room and kitchen. Participants will learning about and taste new creations and wine pairing.

Everyone will receive some recipes to take home.

The cost is $65, and the class is open to ages 21 and older. The class is open to 20 people, and reservations are being accepted at parkcitywineclub.com.

Park City Wine Club formed in 2012 by Certified Sommelier and Fox School of Wine educator Pamela Wood, who is also a certified wine educator and specialist. The club promotes local businesses and supports local nonprofits.
