HOSA Blood Drive at Park City High School
Park City High School, 1750 Kearns Blvd., will host a blood drive for HOSA, a national student organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education Division of the Association for Career and Technical Education, on Wednesday, April 1 from 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The event is for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Spring Community Dance at Rockport Old Church
The spring community dance will be at the Rockport Old Church at Rockport State Park, Wanship, on Saturday, April 4, from 7:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. All dances are taught and dancers rotate partners through each dance. The caller will be Will Aoki and music will be performed by Loose Shoes and the Rockport Dam Band. A teaching workshop will begin at 7:30 p.m. and the dancing will run from 8 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. The nonprofit event is sponsored by Utah State Parks, Friends of Rockport Old Church, and Loose Shoes. Youth Sports Alliance Spring Fest
The Youth Sports Alliance will host Spring Fest at the Town Lift Plaza on Saturday, April 4, from noon until 4 p.m. The celebration of Park City’s Olympic legacy will feature live music by Patwa Reggae Band, special guests, games, prizes and face painting. Food will be available from the Bridge Street Cafe and Grill and a beer garden will be sponsored by Red Rock Brewery. For more information, visit http://www.ysaparkcity.org.
