Performers Needed for Craft Lake City

The Eighth Annual Craft Lake City Festival, which will be held at the Gallivan Center in Salt Lake City from Aug. 12 to Aug. 14, is seeking performers. Park City Film Series Dual Language Immersion: ‘The Book of Life’

The Park City Film Series Dual Language Immersion program will present a free screening of Jorge R. Gutierrez’s "The Book of Life" at the Jim Santy Auditorium at the Park City Library, 1255 Park Ave., and at the Summit County Library Kimball Junction Branch, 1885 W. Ute Blvd., at 3 p.m. "The Book of Life" is an animated story about Manolo, a young man who is torn between fulfilling the expectations of his family and following his heart. Little Naturalist Story Time at the Swaner EcoCenter

The Swaner EcoCenter, 1258 Center Dr. at Kimball Junction, will host a Little Naturalist story time on Monday, April 11, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Little Naturalist is the perfect program for kids age 3-5 who are curious about animals, their habitats, the environment, and other aspects of nature. The stories will be "Salamander Room" by Anne Mazer and "What Do You Do with a Tail Like This?" by Steve Jenkins. The activity will be a special visit from Kim’s Cold Blooded Creatures. Locals’ Free Day at the Park City Museum

The Park City Museum, 528 Main St., will host a locals’ free day on Tuesday, April 12. Park City and Summit County residents will be admitted for free. Activities will complement the "Go Figure" exhibit, which teaches simple math concepts through children’s books, on display at the Tozer Gallery. Newcomers of Greater Park City Coffee

Newcomers of Greater Park City will host its monthly coffee at Park City Community Church, 4501 N. S.R. 224, on Wednesday, April 13, from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The special guest speaker will be Dr. Kevin Duff from the University of Utah, specializing in neuropsychology.
