Art Fellowship Deadline
The Utah Division of Arts & Museums will award two $10,000 visual arts fellowships to acknowledge and encourage the careers of professional artists who demonstrate exceptional talent and dedication. Applications will open Jan. 1, 2016 and are due Feb. 1. Artists will be chosen by juror JoAnne Northrup. Northrup is the Director of Contemporary Art Initiatives at the Nevada Museum of Art. Teshia at the Park City Fine Art Gallery
The Park City Fine Art Gallery, 577 Main St., will welcome visual artist Teshia on Saturday, Dec. 26, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Teshia, who lives in Montana, creates colorful acrylic works of animals and Western landscapes. Gallagher at the Egyptian Theatre
Stand-up comedian and icon Gallagher will perform a week-long series of shows at Egyptian Theatre, 328 Main St., from Saturday, Dec. 26, through Saturday, Jan. 2. All shows begin at 8 p.m. The comedian is famous for his wacky inventions and the Sledge-O-Matic watermelon crusher. Mountainlands Community Housing Trust Roommate Roundup
Mountainlands Community Housing Trust and The Christian Center of Park City will host Roommate Roundups on Tuesdays between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. through Dec. 29. Seasonal workers will find maps, housing lists, examples of leases, great information about working and renting in Park City, and meet other seasonal employees seeking housing and roommates. The Roommate Round up is hosted at The Christian Center, 1283 Deer Valley Dr. The phone number is 435-649-2260 . Park City Senior Center
The Park City Senior Center, 1361 Woodside Ave., is open for public activities on Mondays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Events include bridge, canasta, conversation, billiards and more. Lunch, which is cooked on site, will be served at 1 p.m. A suggested donation of $3 for ages 60 and older and $6 for ages younger than 60 will be accepted.
