Live From Russia: Edward Snowden
The Park City Instittue will kick off its Main Stage season with Live From Russia: Edward Snowden at the Eccles Center for the Performing Arts, 1750 Kearns Blvd., on Saturday, Dec. 5, at 7:30 p.m. KUER’s Doug Frabrizio will interview Snowden via video feed. Snowden’s lawyer, Ben Wizner of the ACLU, will also be in attendence. Tickets range from $50 to $150 and can be purchased by calling 435-655-3114 or by visiting http://www.ecclescenter.org .
Yoga for Paws
The Shop Yoga Studio, 1167 Woodside Ave., will host a benefit yoga class fundraiser for Paws for Life, a nonprofit that saves animals in the community. The class will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5, from 11 a.m. until noon. All levels and families are welcome. After the class there will be giveaways, appetizers, juice, drinks and more. Donations can be cash, check or essential animal items such as dog and cat food, cat litter, cleaning supplies, leashes and collars. The 2015 Park City Santa Pub Crawl
The 2015 Park City Santa Pub Crawl will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5. The event, open to ages 21 and older, will start at Handle and Butcher’s Chop House and Bar at 6:30 p.m. and proceed up Main Street to Downstairs at 8 p.m., No Name Saloon at 9:30 p.m. and O.P. Newcomers of Greater Park City
The Newcomers of Greater Park City will host its annual holiday brunch at Park City Community Church, 4501 N. S.R. 224, on Wednesday, Dec. 9, from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. A variety of breakfast treats will be served and entertainment will be provided by the Park City Treble Makers, an all-female a cappella choir. Not PC Players at O.P. Rockwell

National Charity League
Summit County’s chapter of the National Charity League (NCL), a mother-daughter service and leadership organization, is now accepting applications for membership for girls currently grades six through 11. Prospective members are welcome to attend the general meeting that will be held Sunday, Dec. 13, from 3 p.m.until 5 p.m. at 2080 Bear Hollow Dr. Applicants must be sponsored and applications are due on Jan. 7, 2016.
