Park City Film Series Dual Language Program: ‘Los Reyes Magos’

The Park City Film Series will present a free screening of Antonio Navarro’s animated "Los Reyes Magos," not rated, as part of its dual-language program screenings on Saturday, Jan. 10, at 3 p.m. at the Park City Library, 1354 Park Ave. The story of the birth of Christ is given a new spin in this family-friendly animated adventure. Park City Institute Presents Green River Ordinance at the Eccles Center

The Park City Institute will present Green River Ordinance at the Eccles Center for the Performing Arts, 1750 Kearns Blvd., on Saturday, Jan. 10, at 7:30 p.m. Green River Ordinance is a roots-music band from Fort Worth, Texas. Newcomers of Greater Park City

Newcomers of Greater Park City will host its monthly coffee at Park City Community Church, 4501 S.R. 224, on Wednesday, Jan. 14, from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The speakers will be KPCW President and General Manager Larry Warren and KPCW Board Chairman Bob Richer, who will provide an overview of the radio station’s mission and future plans. Sundance Film Festival Local Individual Ticket Purchase

Utah residents who registered for the Sundance Film Festival individual ticket purchase

timeslots will be able to purchase their tickets from Tuesday, Jan. 13, through

Thursday, Jan. 15. Registrants should have received a timeslot confirmation by email

on Dec. 18. Local purchases will not be limited to just 30 minutes. Patrons will

have from their timeslot start time until 5 p.m. Jan. 15 to complete a purchase. The

purchase maximum is 20 tickets, with a limit of four tickets per screening. For more

‘Tapas & Tastes’ at Ruth’s Chris

The Park City Wine Club will host "Tapas & Tastes" once a month at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse at Hotel Park City. The next session will be Thursday, Jan. 15, at 6 p.m. These events, which are open to Park City Wine members, will include tastings of tapa bites from Ruth’s Chris paired with. The cost is $40.
