FIS Freestyle World Cup

The FIS Freestyle World Cup will be held at Deer Valley Resort from Wednesday, Jan. 7, through Saturday, Jan. 10. The event will kick off with an opening ceremony on Jan. 7, at 7 p.m. The celebration will move to lower Main Street with a concert by the Chris Robinson Brotherhood and will culminate with fireworks at 10 p.m. Admission is free. DivorceCare at Mountain Life Church

Mountain Life Church, 7375 N. Silver Creek Rd., offers two programs aimed at providing comfort and support for those experiencing divorce. The DivorceCare and DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) programs are 12-week courses that will be held Wednesdays beginning Jan. 7, at 6:45 p.m. DivorceCare seminar and support group for anyone going through a divorce or separation. Divorce Care for Kids provides children ages 5 to 12 with a safe, neutral place to recognize and learn to share their feelings through motivating and exciting activities. Both faith-based, non-denominational programs run for approximately 1 ½ hours and feature a DVD presentation from nationally recognized experts. Book to Film Club at the Summit County Library

The Summit County Library, Kimball Junction Branch, 1885 W. Ute Blvd., will host a book to film club screening of Lasse Hallström ‘s "Hundred-Foot Journey," rated PG, on Thursday, Jan. 8, at 6 p.m. The comedy is based on Richard C. Park City Film Series Dual Language Program: ‘Los Reyes Magos’

The Park City Film Series will present a free screening of Antonio Navarro’s animated "Los Reyes Magos," not rated, as part of its dual-language program screenings on Saturday, Jan. 10, at 3 p.m. at the Park City Library, 1354 Park Ave. The story of the birth of Christ is given a new spin in this family-friendly animated adventure. Little Naturalists: Story Time at Swaner EcoCenter

The Swaner EcoCenter, 1258 Center Dr., will host a special Little Naturalists story time on Monday, Jan. 12, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Little Naturalists is the perfect program for 3 to 5-year-olds who are curious about animals, their habitats, the environment, and other aspects of nature. The books on Jan. 12 will be "Who’s Been Here? A Tale in Tracks" by Fran Hodgkins and "Over and Under the Snow" by Kate Messner. Newcomers of Greater Park City

Newcomers of Greater Park City will host its monthly coffee at Park City Community Church, 4501 S.R. 224, on Wednesday, Jan. 14, from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The speakers will be KPCW President and General Manager Larry Warren and KPCW Board Chairman Bob Richer, who will provide an overview of the radio station’s mission and future plans.
