Park City Library Grand Opening
The Book Brigade will host the Park City Library’s grand opening at 1255 Park Ave., on Saturday, June 13, from noon until 5 p.m. The free event will begin with book brigade from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon, followed by live music, fun activities for kids, self-guided tours, and film screenings courtesy of the Park City Film Series and Sundance Institute. The 18th Annual Park City Historic Home Tour
The Park City Museum will present its 18th annual historic home tour on Saturday, June 13, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The tour showcases some of Park City’s most beautiful and interesting historic homes in different sections of Old Town each year. This year Park City residents open their homes on upper Main Street. Tickets are $20 for the general public and $15 for museum members and can be purchased in advance by calling 435-649-7457. Celebrity Chef Tour
The Celebrity Chef Tour returns to Riverhorse on Main, 540 Main St., on Saturday, June 13, at 7 p.m. Award-winning chef Seth Adams will host James Beard Award-nominee Martin Rios, and chefs Charleen Badman, Gabe Kennedy, and two celebrated local Utah chefs — Briar Handly and Katie Weinner. Summit Land Conservancy Hops Hunters Hike
The Summit Land Conservancy will lead a hops hunters hike at Empire Canyon on Sunday, June 14, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Participants will locate and monitor hops populations to be used in a special edition beer with a local brew pub. The Park City Library, 1255 Park Ave., will host a monthly meeting called She Creates: Cultivating the Female Voice Through Film beginning on Wednesday, June 17, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. The sessions will be led by award-winning filmmaker Jill Orschel. Each meeting will focus on a different filmmaking idea, concept and technique. Registration opens one week prior to the class. All ages 13 and older and invited to register.
