The Heber Valley-area’s community theatre group, the Timpanogos Valley Theater Company, will hold auditions for its spring production, "The Music Man,"on March 28 and 29.

The auditions will take place at the Wasatch County Senior Citizens Center, located at 465 East 1200 South in Heber, from 5-8 p.m. The audition is open to all ages.

DesignArts Utah seeks entries

The Utah Arts council is looking for design entries for its DesignArts Utah ’06 Exhibition. An annual exhibition, DesignArts Utah promotes the diverse fields of design in Utah, including architecture, community planning and environmental, consumer product, communication and industrial design.

The deadline for all types of submissions is April 28, and the exhibition will run from June 16 to July 28 at the Rio Gallery.

Kimball Art Center now available for little ones’ birthday fun

Looking for a location for a young one’s birthday? The Kimball Art Center might have an answer.

The organization is offering Friday and Saturday afternoon birthday parties for youth ages 5 to 12. Themes range from painting to jewelry-making and picture-frame and treasure-box decorating and include a host, activities and art supplies.
