Park City High School, 1750 Kearns Blvd., will host a Latino outreach scholarship night on Wednesday, March 20, from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Representatives from University of Utah, Utah Valley University, Weber State University and SLCC will meet with community members to share information and break down financial barriers for attending college. CornHole 2013 at Cattleman’s Hall
Friends of Kings Peak will host CornHole 2013 at Cattleman’s Hall, 4300 S.R. 32 in Oakley, on Friday, March 22, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. The family-friendly night will feature tossing corn filled bags. A $10 donation gets participants four tossing bags. Pizza and sodas will also be available for purchase. Proceeds from the fundraising event will support the group’s continued conservation work in the Henry’s Fork/Kings Peak area and help provide a seasonal intern and volunteer horse-mounted ranger for this summer.Prizes and silent-auction items, including the boards used for the tournament, will be handed out that night. Gallery MAR MS Reception
The Gallery MAR, 436 Main St., will team with National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Utah office, for a reception on Friday, March 22 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. to celebrate Love Utah Give Utah, a special day of giving supporting the important work nonprofits do. ‘Robin Hood’ Auditions in Kamas
The Uinta Center for the Arts announces auditions for the Brothers Cobb musical: "Robin Hood" at the Kamas Theater, 30 N. Main in Kamas, on Saturday, March 23, at 11 a.m. Parts are open to men and women of all ages. Actors must come prepared to learn a dance combination, read from the script and sing 16 bars of a favorite song. The singing can be accompanied by a CD or sung a cappella.
