G.D. Garner Fundraiser for the Egyptian Theatre
Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and Silver Restaurant will host world-renowned artist G.D. Garner in a split fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 15. The artist reception and art viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Ruth’s Chris and the auction and cocktail party will be held at Silver from 5 p.m. until close. Recycle Utah Celebrates America Recycles Day
Recycle Utah, 1951 Woodbine Way, will celebrate America Recycles Day on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature a continental breakfast and facility tours. Peace House’s ‘Bling Fling’
Peace House is collecting Bling for the upcoming Bling Fling on Nov. 15 at Newpark Resort Hotel in Kimball Junction. Purple Bling Fling bins are collecting gently loved fine and costume jewelry, handbags and scarves at the following locations: Whole Foods, Fresh Market at Quarry Village, Recycle Utah, Right at Home, Park City Community Church, Lunatic Fringe and LunchBOX (A Waxing Salon). Members of Park Meadows Country Club and Promontory the Ranch Club will find Bling bins at the club houses. And of course, Bling donations are accepted at Peace House Outreach Offices, 1960 Sidewinder Drive Suite 208.

An Evening with Ute Storyteller Larry Cesspooch
The Summit County Library Kimball Junction Branch, 1885 W. Ute Blvd., will welcome Ute storyteller Larry Cesspooch at the Sheldon Richins Auditorium on Monday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. Cesspooch created the 2002 Olympics exhibit "First Nations of Utah" and was the filmmaker of "The Bear Dance Story: As Told by Henry Cesspooch, Beer Dance Chief," which screened at the 1994 Sundance Film Festival. Larry Cesspooch will tell Native American legends and other stories. All ages are welcome. The event, funded in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, is free and open to the public. Table for 12 Food and Wine Experience
The Fox School of Wine, Nosh and The Cheese Shop will host a Table for 12 Food and Wine session at The Market at Park City, 1500 Snow Creek Plaza, on Thursday Nov. 20, at 6:30 p.m. The topic will be Holiday Elegance and participants will learn how to prepare elegant cheese platters and pair them with fine wines for an affordable price. Participants will also enjoy learning and tasting, specialty cheeses, artisan meats, complimented with unique wines. Reservations can be made online at http://www.foxschoolofwine.com . The cost is $40 per person, and all who attend must be 21 and over.
