Sundance Film Festival Passes and Ticket Packages Go on Sale Wednesday
Sundance Film Festival passes and ticket packages will go on sale on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at noon. There will be no registration and sales will be done online only by visiting http://www.sundance.org/festivals/sundance-film-festival/get-tickets . Ticket packages will be on sale until Wednesday, Dec. 14, or until supplies last. Passes will be on sale until Wednesday, Jan 27, or as long as supplies last. Individual tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 10 a.m. For more information, visit http://www.sundance.org .
Hoppy Hour 2015 at the Wasatch Brew Pub
The Summit Land Conservancy will host Hoppy Hour 2015 at the Wasatch Brew Pub, 250 Main St., on Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Members of the public, ages 21 and older, are invited to enjoy a pint of ale brewed with wild hops harvested on local properties protected by the Conservancy. Table for Twelve Food & Wine Experience
The Fox School of Wine will present October’s Table for Twelve Food & Wine Experience at the Market Park City, 1500 Snow Creek Dr., on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 6:30 p.m. at the This month the theme is t Iberian Peninsula: Spain & Portugal. Participants will savor delicious meats and cheese from these regions and enjoy wine pairings. Reservations are required, space is limited to 12, and participants must be aged 21 or older. Youth Community Service Project at the Swaner EcoCenter
The Swaner EcoCenter, 1258 Center Dr. at Kimball Junction, will host a youth community service project on Sunday, Oct. 18, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. The project, which will feature making ornaments for the Swaner EcoCenter’s holiday tree that will be auctioned off at the National Ability Center’s First Annual Giving Tree Festival in November, is designed for elementary and middle school students who need service hours. Peace House is currently collecting gently-used jewelry, scarves and handbags for resale at its Bling Fling fundraiser that will be held on Nov. 13 and 14 at Park City Community Church. Bring donations, for which you will receive a donation receipt, to any of the following locations: Right At Home, Park City Community Church, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, Whole Foods, Hugo Coffee, Freedom Chiropractic, The Park Meadows Country Club and Peace House Community Offices.
