Aqua Affair Ticket Sales Ends Thursday

Deadline to purchase tickets for Recycle Utah’s Aqua Affair celebration and fundraiser gala is Thursday, Sept. 10. Individual tickets are available for $175 and tables of 10 can be purchased for $1,500. Sponsorships are also available. Annual Navajo Rug Show Volunteer Meeting Volunteers are needed to help with the 26th annual Navajo Rug Show and Sale that will be held on Nov. 6 to 8. A meeting for volunteers will be held at Park City Community Church, 4501 Highway 224, on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 5:30 p.m. Volunteers are vital for the success of the show ages 16 to 99 are welcome and appreciated. The Park City Museum’s Research Library and Collections Workshop

The Park City Museum, 528 Main St., will host a ‘History Speaks’ workshop that will introduce participants to its research library and collections department on Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Research Coordinator Mahala Ruddell and Curator of Collections and Exhibits Courtney Titus will lead the group through the Hal Compton Research Library. Participants will learn about the resources in the library that assist in historical research and how the collections are processed. Space is limited and RSVPs are required. Kimball Art Center’s Dinner and Performance Fundraiser: Time for Three

Time for Three will play at the Kimball Art Center’s dinner and performance fundraiser at Stein Eriksen Lodge, 7700 Stein Way, on Friday, Sept. 11. The event will begin at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the performance will start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $150 and are available by visiting http://www.kimballartcenter.org/events . All proceeds will benefit the Kimball Art Center.

Fourth Annual Hike for Hunger

The annual Hike for Hunger, a food drive and fundraiser for the Christian Center of Park City, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, at Deer Valley Resort. The event will feature hiking, live music by Bonanza Town, bounce houses, face painting and more.
