Throwback Thursday Movies: ‘The NeverEnding Story’

Park City Film Series will screen Wolfgang Petersen’s “The Never Ending Story,” rated PG, as part of its free weekly Throwback Thursday programming at 7 p. m. on Thursday, June 15, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave.

Bastian is a young boy who lives a dreary life being tormented by school bullies. On one such occasion he escapes into a bookshop where the old proprietor reveals an ancient storybook to him, which he is warned can be dangerous.
