5-K9 and Bark in the Park

Bring your four-legged friends for a family fun run Saturday, July 18, at Willow Creek Park. Registration and packet pickup is at 7 a.m.; the race starts at 8 a.m. There will be prizes for winners in each age group running with or without a dog. Kids, non-runners and non-running dogs may participate in a special 1K fun run/walking course. Preregistered runners will receive a t-shirt, swag bag and doggie bandana. The Bark in the Park Festival, featuring competitions for dogs, canine performances and demonstrations, contests and refreshments, will begin when the race ends. Registration for the 5K is $30 for individuals or person/dog duos. All proceeds benefit Friends of Animals Utah. Admission to the Bark in the Park Festival is free.
