Health officials confirmed Tuesday that another probable case of swine flu in Summit County was announced Monday evening, bringing the probable cases in the area to 11.
One confirmed case of the swine flu was announced in the Park City area Saturday.
The H1N1 virus has mostly affected school-aged children in Summit County. The confirmed case was discovered in a student who recently returned from a spring break trip in Mexico, where the newly discovered influenza strain has killed several people.
The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention must still confirm results from other testing on samples taken from sick people in the Park City area, Summit County Health Department spokeswoman Katie Mullaly said in a telephone interview Tuesday.
