Eastern Summit County Art Show & Sale
Take care of all your holiday shopping needs on Saturday, Nov. 14, with art and craft shows at different locations across Eastern Summit County. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., local artists will be showing their work in the historic Boyden Building on 2 South Main Street in Coalville. Jim Simister hosts his annual holiday studio sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Sunstone Pottery, 217 South Main in Coalville. The fire station on Park Road in Coalville hosts Kathi’s Boutique, featuring wooden crafts and other Christmas gifts. From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., the Cattlemen’s Building on Center Street in Oakley will host a variety of vendors selling clothing, arts, crafts, make-up and many other items.
Art talk at Kimball Art Center
On Tuesday, Nov. 17, Doug Smith and team behind the renowned Scenemakers Event Productions will demonstrate how to ignite your imagination and create hot holiday décor for your home that will make you the envy of the neighborhood. The presentation starts at 6:30 p.m. and will feature visuals from behind-the-scenes of events, tricks of the trade, and ways to entertain at home with panache, originality and creativity. This event is free and open to the public.
Photographer presentation with Stephen Trimble
The Women’s Athenaeum Club of Park City will host award-winning Utah writer and photographer Stephen Trimble at the Kimball Arts Center on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 7 p.m. Trimble will be showing slides of his latest work.
