Bicycle blamed for broken door
The front door of the Main Street post office shattered Tuesday night when someone tried to get inside with a bicycle.
The Park City Police Department says the 54-year-old man, who is from Park City but was not identified, entered the post office a little before 8 p.m. with the bike. The door swung back, hit the bike and the glass shattered.
Lt. Phil Kirk says nobody was injured and no charges are pending. He says the case is an accident.
A cleanup crew quickly descended on the post office, removing shards of glass from the sidewalk and from inside the building.
