PCWBN fundraiser

The Park City Women’s Business Network hosts "Girls Night Out," a fall fashion fundraiser featuring a live fashion auction and silent auction on Wed. Nov. 5.

Proceeds from this event go to the Park City High School Scholarship Fund for Women.

Cocktails begin at 5:30 with dinner at 7 at Ghidotti’s in Kimball Junction.

The latest fashions will be featured in the live auction from Mary Jane’s, Cole Sport, Bunya Bunya, Legacy Lodge, Jessie’s Elegance, RJ Designs and more.

Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at Mary Jane’s at 613 Main St. or Cole Sport at 1615 Park Avenue.

Park City named great place to retire

"Where to Retire" magazine named Park City as one of eight "Fabulous Winter Wonderlands" in its November/December issue.

In addition to the community’s role in hosting the Olympics, the article also makes mention of the city’s free public transportation. The other Western states communities on the list are Mount Shasta, California; Boulder, Colorado and Ruidoso, New Mexico.

AeroMexico will fly to Salt Lake City

AeroMexico has announced that it will launch twice weekly (Thursdays and Sundays), non-stop flights between Salt Lake City and Mexico City beginning November 16.
