Local honored by Military Engineers
Parkite Dr. Joseph Martone, Lt. Col., USAF (Ret.) was notified that he will soon be inducted into the Society of American Military Engineers Academy of Fellows in recognition of his efforts on behalf of the organization and the profession.
Firm’s project earns "Energy Star"
Elliott Workgroup Architecture of Park City recently received notification from the Environmental Protection Agency that its project Zions Bank Financial Center in Provo was confirmed as "Designed to Earn the Energy Star."
Farm Bureau leader optimistic
Increased export of food grown in the U.S., increased attention to buying locally-grown food and good snowfall in 2008 are all reasons for optimism within the agricultural community, said Utah Farm Bureau Federation president Leland Hogan.

The Park City Chamber/Bureau will sponsor Drew Bedford, from local Park City interactive marketing firm Flashpoint to cover the basics of online marketing and answer questions on Jan. 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 at Best Western Landmark Inn.
