Golderner Hirsch welcomes new executive chef

The Goldener Hirsch Inn & Restaurant and Ticino Trattoria in Deer Valley Resort’s Silver Lake Village welcome Michael Showers as their new executive chef. Originally from the Seattle area, Showers was most recently executive chef and food & beverage director at the highly acclaimed Papoose Creek Lodge in southwest Montana. His specialties include the classic Goldener Hirsch Wiener Schnitzel, Rocky Mountain Lamb 2 Ways, Muscovy Duck Breast and European-style rabbit.

The Auto Service Center of Park City is offering to do a repair of up to $500 for a needy family in Park City. Until Feb. 5, the office will take applications from people requesting to be considered. C&S Creative Services, a Park City full-service advertising agency, has moved to 4137 North Highway 224. The company said after 15 years in Deer Valley Plaza, this move gives the firm better visibility. Local business people are invited to stop in for a cup of coffee and check out the new office
