DWR welcomes input on fishing regulations
Is there a fishing regulation in Utah that you’d like to see change? Or do you have an idea for a new rule? If so, biologists with the Division of Wildlife Resources want to hear from you. The biologists are already working on possible fishing changes for 2010. They need your ideas no later than June 1 to consider them for next year. Email DWRComment@utah.gov .
AAA earthquake safety tips
AAA encourages Utahns to be prepared for an earthquake. Create an earthquake-survival kit including canned goods, water, sanitary supplies, a camp stove, portable radio, flashlight and spare batteries. Know how to shut off your home’s gas, water, and electricity. Conduct family earthquake drills. Make sure everyone knows which areas in a room are safest. Decide where your family will reunite if you’re separated. Childproof your cabinets’ latches to prevent them from flying open in a quake. Check your insurance for earthquake coverage.
