Bike to work on Friday
Join the Park City Chamber/Bureau in celebrating National "Bike to Work Day" by leaving your car at home and either biking or walking to work. Complimentary breakfast provided for bikers and walkers from 7 to 9 a.m. outside the Yarrow Hotel and the Basin Recreation Field House. More doe and cow hunting permits available
Members of the Utah Wildlife Board raised the number of permits at their May 7 meeting in Salt Lake City for cow elk, doe deer and doe pronghorn permits for hunts in Utah this fall. Their goal is to balance the number of elk, deer and pronghorn on various units in the state with the amount of habitat that’s available for the animals on those units.
Real estate blamed for low bank earnings
Mountain West Bank’s corporate headquarters in Idaho announced earnings and balance sheet growth information for the first quarter ending March 31, 2009. Earnings after tax for the first quarter were $1,190,000 down 58 percent from the same period in 2008. The Park City location is at 1776 Park Ave.
