Local Realtors honored in Forbes
Snow Park Realty, Inc. was featured in the Sept. 29 issue of Forbes Magazine as one of Goldline Research’s 2008 Selections. The category was, "The Ten Most Dependable Luxury Real Estate Professionals of the West.
Broker John Tracy said he believes someone from Goldline Research saw his catalogue of properties in Park City and Arizona and was impressed at the company’s record of client satisfaction.
Chamber Bureau honored for its hosting
The Park City Chamber Bureau will receive Corporate & Incentive Travel magazine’s 2008 Award of Excellence. According to a press release, the award is an annual recognition of the finest convention and visitors bureaus, conference centers, resorts, and hotels for their quality and distinction. Bill Malone, executive director of the Chamber Bureau, said the award should be credited to the work of Ashley Anderson and Tonya Sweeten in marketing Park City’s meeting spaces to companies and assisting them in finding what they need. He also said the award is an affirmation of the product they promote and the good experience visitors have in Park City.
Park City home part of failed auction
According to the Associated Press, a Park City home worth $3.5 million was part of a cancelled auction held earlier this month in which 56 foreclosed homes, mostly in Utah County, were on the block through Eric Nelson Auctioneering.The auction fell through after owners refused to accept the bids which averaged about half of the listed price of the homes. The Park City home only drew a bid of $1.1 million.
