Blind Dog building sells, restaurant stays

by Jay Hamburger OF THE RECORD STAFF

A California firm, Thompson National Properties, LLC, recently purchased the Sidewinder Drive building that houses the Blind Dog restaurant and a building next door.

The restaurant remains open, and its owner says she holds a lease to remain in the building.

Penny Kinsey, the owner of the restaurant, declines to discuss the length of the lease, but she says she is happy with the agreement.

"It’s a great lease. Blind Dog’s not going anywhere," Kinsey says.
