Bob O’Connor named Park City High School principal
June 6, 2012
Park City School District Superintendent Ray Timothy looked internally to fill the Park City High School principal position. Former PCHS principal Hilary Hays left the position a few weeks ago after she found out she would not be asked back after the end of this school year.
Treasure Mountain Junior High School Principal Bob O’Connor will assume Hays’ post as PCHS principal effective for the 2012-2013 school year.
That set off a chain of transfers. Timothy said five employees will be taking on new responsibilities.
David McNaughtan, who has been serving as assistant principal at Park City High School for the last six years, has been named the principal of Treasure Mountain Junior High School.
Bob Edmiston, who has served as principal at McPolin Elementary for five years, will become the assistant principal at Park City High School.
Greg Proffit will take over Edmiston’s position at McPolin Elementary School. Profitt has been an administrator in the Park City School District for 15 years.
