Brief: Local youth chosen for Disney internship
Park City High School graduate Brittney Bell is currently working at Walt Disney World with the Disney College Internship Program in Orlando, Fla. According to her family, she was selected for the competitive internship for "outstanding guest service and creating unique magical moments." She is also furthering her education by taking classes at Disney University. As an intern, Bell will have the opportunity to participate in professional-development learning activities and networking sessions with Disney leaders. She is with students from across the country and will be participating in Disney’s one-of-a-kind Living, Learning and Earning Experience. Bell will return to Utah in January to continue her degree in Marketing at the John M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University. She is a 2006 graduate of Park City High School and is the daughter of Richard and Judy Bell.
Park City School District contracts for AI gun detection service
Park City School District will pay $546,000 over the next five years for ZeroEyes, a software company that uses artificial intelligence to detect brandished firearms, to monitor 650 cameras in all 12 schools.
