Early Childhood Education Program
There is an Early Childhood Education Program held Mon. Thurs. at McPolin Elementary School for children 3 years old and up. A morning program is offered from 9:00 11:30 a.m. or in the afternoons from 12:30 3:30 p.m. There is a small student-to-teacher ratio and tuition is $170 per month.
Activities are designed to enhance each child’s growth and development through hands-on learning. Registration is on-going and is taken on a first-come basis. For more information call Judy at 645-5600 (x1447). UBSCT Dates
The Utah Basic Skills and Competency Test will be held for sophomores and those needing to make up the test on Jan. 31, Feb. 1 and 2 at Park City High School. U of U Continuing Education Dance Classes
The University of Utah Continuing Education department is offering dance classes that are co-sponsored with the PCSD Community Education program.
Argentine Tango: A very sensual dance for even the crowded floor, since it is danced with partners close together. Introductory series explores partner connection, improvisation and navigation. No experience necessary. Instructor: Mark Christensen. Class will be held at Parley’s Park Elementary. Jan. 17 Feb. 14 at 7:30 9:00 p.m.
Couples and singles of all ages are welcome. Bring a video camera to class to tape demonstration moves for home practice.
