High School Accreditation

Regional accreditation was recently granted to Park City High School by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools.

In 1927 PCHS was first accredited with the association. It is one of approximately 1,800 in the region and one of over 36,000 schools nationwide to maintain regional accreditation. The school is also approved by its State Accreditation Committee for the 2005-2006 academic year.

Wasatch Back Student Art Show

The Kimball Art Center is hosting an annual show featuring student artists in Summit and Wasatch counties. The show is open to children in grades K-5 who reside in Summit or Wasatch county. Cost of entry is $1.

The entry must have been completed during the 2005-2006 school year and must not have been submitted to the center before. The artwork must be original two- or three- dimensional work and does not need to be a class assignment.

If all the requirements are met, every student will have their entry included if space is available. The registration period is from Friday to Sunday, April 21-23 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Kimball Art Center. For more details, call 649-8882.
