Park City High School students who will be 16 years old by December 31, 2006 are eligible for the summer driver’s education class.

There are 2 available sessions. The first will be held June 12 through June 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each day.

The second session will be held June 14 through June 27 from noon to 3:00 p.m.

Classes are held on a first come-first serve basis, and there is a maximum of 25 students per session.

Students should pick up forms from Kavin Goode.

Bike swap

The annual White Pine Touring/Young Riders’ Bike Swap will be held on May 6 and 7 at 1790 Bonanza Drive from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Young Riders programs. For more information, call 655-2621.

Miner film festival

The audio visual club at Park City High School will run the fourth-annual Miner Film Festival on May 12 in the Jim Santy Auditorium. All of the films will be judged and winners selected in each category. There will be three overall winners. Prizes are as follows: first-place $600, second-place $300, and third-place $100.

Wasatch student art show

The Kimball Art Center is currently hosting the Wasatch Back Student Art Show. It displays the work of students from around Wasatch counties and will be at the center from April 29 to May 29.
