The libraries at Parley’s Park, Jeremy Ranch and Trailside elementary schools will be open for students to check out books, record reading time, and earn points and prizes as part of their summer reading clubs. Teachers at each school will be available to help children select books. The program will end with a party.

The schedule is as follows:

Parley’s Park, Tues. and Thurs., June 13 to July 27, 9 a.m. to noon.

Trailside, Tues and Thurs, June 13 to July 27, 9 a.m. to noon

Jeremy Ranch, Mon. and Wed., June 12 to July 26, 9 a.m. to noon

Graduation announcements

On Saturday, May 27, Sarah Anne Payne of Park City, graduated from the Stony Brook School in Stony Brook, NY. She was one of 68 students in the class of 2006. She graduated with high honors and plans to attend the Culinary Institute of America in the fall.

On Sunday, May 28, H. Charles Reed of Park City, graduated from Colby College in Waterville, Main. He was one of 465 students in the class of 2006. He graduated cum laude with distinction in economics. He is the son of Harry and Sydney Reed.

Dean’s List

Stephen Albarran of Park City was recently named to the Dean’s List at Bentley College in Waltham, Mass. Albarran is a junior majoring in Economics and Finance.
