National Merit Scholarship Program finalists

Park City High School has two National Merit Scholarship finalists for 2007. They are Robert Florance and Nicole Rosecrans.

English classes

The Park City School District offers English classes every Monday and Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Registration is $20 per year. Those interested in taking the class may arrive 15 minutes early and register. Class is held at the Park City Learning Center at 2400 Kearns Blvd. For more information call (435) 645-5600 ext. 1447.

Spanish classes

The Park City School District offers several day or evening Spanish classes at different levels. For dates and times visit , click on Community Ed and go to "search catalog and register online."

Women Beyond Cancer retreat

Women Beyond Cancer is a non-profit organization offering retreats for women with all types of cancer. Their retreats focus on the healing and strengthening of mind, body, and spirit. Women Beyond Cancer supports women to actively manage the impact of cancer in their lives and to improve their quality of life, in a comfortable lodge setting.

Change coming to Park Record print delivery

Beginning Wednesday, Aug. 4, the newspaper will be delivered to subscribers in Park City and the Snyderville Basin through the U.S. Postal Service on Wednesdays and Saturdays rather than via morning home delivery.
