Burnt bacon, burnt toast prompt calls to emergency responders

The Park City Police Department and firefighters last week received at least two reports of food that had been burnt.
On Sunday, Dec. 11, the police received a report of a fire alarm sounding on the 1300 block of Lowell Avenue at 10:12 a.m. The alarm was triggered by bacon that had been burnt, the police said, and the emergency response was cancelled.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Dec. 6, the Park City Fire District was summoned to Main Street after someone reported toast had been burnt. The fire district response was cancelled, the police said.
