Ski Season and Spring Break Increase Airport Traffic
Due to increased Spring Break student travel during the coming week, airline passengers are reminded to arrive early at Salt Lake City International Airport. Airport officials indicate that passengers should be in the terminal at least 90-minutes prior to their scheduled departure and two hours in advance of international travel. Passengers should take into account that early mornings, Friday afternoons and Sunday evenings are particularly busy times at the Salt Lake City International Airport. Travelers can save time by checking in online and printing boarding passes via airline web sites before coming to the airport. Most airlines offer curbside bag check-in and Delta Airlines also operates a check-in counter on the drive-through lane on the first level of the parking garage to streamline process. For additional tips on efficient travel visit the Transportation Security Administration website at http://www.tsa.gov.
