Zions Bank calls for entries in video contest
A new video contest from Zions Bank is giving students the opportunity to win up to $1,000, with a matching prize for their school. Utah and Idaho students ages 13-18 are invited to submit an original, 60-second video on the subject "Magic of Saving" that will promote the importance of saving money for the future. Entries are due by Friday, March 2, 2012. Finalist entries will be selected in mid-March, and winners will be elected online by popular vote. First, second and third place winners will receive cash prizes of $1,000, $500 and $250, respectively, with their affiliated schools each receiving an equal matching amount. Office of Economic Development to lead delegation to Chile The Governor’s Office of Economic Development’s International Trade and Diplomacy Office has announced an opportunity for interested companies to join GOED at one of the world’s largest mining exhibitions, Expomin 2012, from April 9 thru the 13th. Expomin 2012, "The Center of the World Mining Industry" is the premiere mining exhibition for suppliers with Latin American mining interests and will be an opportunity for Utah businesses in the mining sector and other industries to network and expand their customer base.

Park City School District contracts for AI gun detection service
Park City School District will pay $546,000 over the next five years for ZeroEyes, a software company that uses artificial intelligence to detect brandished firearms, to monitor 650 cameras in all 12 schools.
