Promontory supports local charities

This Saturday at 6 p.m., the Promontory Foundation the charitable arm of the Promontory golf community will hold a private Beneficiary Reception at which the foundation will gift over $125,000 to local nonprofit groups. The money was raised at a recent benefit concert. The reception will take place at Promontory’s Town Lift Lodge on Lower Main Street.

Family Dollar now open in Kamas

The Kamas Family Dollar store opened July 29. It is one of the anchor tenants in a new strip mall adjacent to the Food Town built by Denis and Steve Tanner and their development partners, Kevin and Kathleen Hoyt. The hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.

Parkite joins Wells Fargo Private Bank

According to a press release, Robyn Martinez was recently named a private banker for Wells Fargo Private Bank in Salt Lake City. She was formerly a wealth manager and financial advisor for JP Morgan Chase. She is a member of the Park City Chamber/Bureau and the Park City Women’s Business Network.
