DWS Law Seminar
The Department of Workforce Services Employer Connection Advisory Board (ECAB) is inviting employers and business owners to attend the free January event, "Better Your Business Breakfast Seminar." The seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 16 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and will cover what management needs to know to comply with federal and state laws and regulations. Weekend Wine Series
The Fox School of Wine is scheduled to offer the final Weekend Wine Series of the month on Friday, Dec. 28 and Saturday, Dec. 29 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Silver Baron Lodge in located in lower Deer Valley at 2880 Deer Valley Dr. East. Admission to the class is $25 per person. Class attendees will learn about five wines chosen to reflect the weekend’s theme, Rock Star Wines. PC Marriott unveils new look
The Park City Marriott is ready for the season, donning a newly clad and freshly painted exterior in addition to new fire and a welcoming appearance to the lodging property. Renovations began this summer and were wrapped up earlier this season, giving a new look the Park City Marriott. Beerman said he is aware of landlords offering relief of some sort, but he also acknowledged the landlords earn a living off the rents they collect.
