New VP at Sterling Ascend

Sterling Ascend Insurance Resources announced that James Eldredge has been named new Vice President Sales of the local insurance brokerage, according to a press release. Yappy Hour benefits FOA

McMillen Fine Art Photography Gallery is scheduled to host its first Friends of Animal (FOAU) fundraiser, the "Yappy Hour," dubbed an evening of wine and dog pairing Saturday, Feb. 9th. The event will take place at the gallery located at the Redstone Center in Kimball Junction. The event will feature the spectacular photographic landscapes of McMillen Fine Art as well as a new genre of canine portraits. A silent action will be held for the portraits as guests sample wines selected to "exemplify the true essence of every adoptable dog photographed," according to a press release. University of Phoenix offers free workshop

The University Of Phoenix Utah Campus is scheduled to hosts a free career workshop, "Managing Up" on Tuesday, Jan. 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Murray campus. The University of Phoenix welcomes the public to attend this free workshop to gain insight on career advancement. Attendees will learn about four steps of managing up to help reach career goals.
