Coldwell Banker appoints new IT director

Scott Nelson has been named director of information technology for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Utah. Nelson has over eight years of experience in real estate technology. He holds a degree in business management from Brigham Young University.

Matt Snyder, a loan officer has joined Crescent Mortgage, a Park City mortgage company.

Snyder, formerly of Silver Mountain Mortgage, brings mortgage experience and a firm grasp of the Park City real estate market to the company, according to Crescent Mortgage.

Big-D Construction has been awarded a contract to build the Newpark Condominium and Hotel. The $25 million mixed-use project is expected to feature 150,000 square-feet of condo and hotel space as well as retail and meeting space. Construction is slated to begin in spring of 2006 with an estimated completion date for summer 2007.

The two-building, four-story project will include stone cladding along with copper and trestle wood siding, according to Big-D, and a 2,000 square-foot Sky Bridge will connect the two buildings at the second level. Amenities in the condo/hotel will include an indoor-outdoor pool and spa, exercise room, steam room, sauna, lockers and day spa.

Horie was previously an agent assistant with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Park City. She has 13 years of experience in field engineering with IBM. Horie is also a committee member of Boy Scout Troop 1241 in charge of advancements.
