Chamber/Bureau annual meeting Thursday

The debut of the Park City Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Bureau 2010/2011 multimedia marketing plan presentation will be July 22 at Newpark Resort & Hotel from 11:15 to 1:30. Cost is $25 in advance or $30 at the door. RSVP at parkcityinfo.com.

Parkite’s company back from Bolivia

Deseret Health Group, a Bountiful-based company headed by Parkite Jon Robertson, traveled to Bolivia in June to dig irrigation ditches, open two elementary schools, and provide a helping hand to villagers in the highlands. The group, which included 12 long-time employees from rural Kansas and Utah many of whom had never left the U.S. was organized by CHOICE Humanitarian, a philanthropic organization committed to ending poverty by helping build sustainable villages while bridging the gap between villagers and American corporations.

Trading/investing club to meet July 27

The Park City Trading and Investing Club is scheduled to hold its July meeting on the 27th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Keller Williams building on the corner of S.R. 224 and Sun Peak Drive. Organizers request an RSVP to Brian Kahn at 435-659-6217 or bkahn1@gmail.com .
