Sell jewelry or antiques at Landmark Inn

The Ohio Valley Gold & Silvery Refinery is holding a road show at Kimball Junction this week through July 30 at the Best Western Landmark Inn near Walmart. Collectors will purchase gold, silver and rare items at the show. They are interested in old coins and paper money, Civil War and other military items, antique guitars, signs, sports memorabilia, dolls, comics, historical documents, fine art and other collectibles. International Forum to be held Aug. 11

The Park City Chamber/Bureau is taking reservations now for the 2011 International Forum scheduled for Aug. 11 at the Newpark Hotel. Guest speakers will include Patton Murray with the Chamber/Bureau, Dilson Vercosa with American Airlines, Vanda Catao with the Chamber/Bureau, Kathrin Berns with Get It Across Marketing and Graeme Spratley with Spiral Marketing. New corporate head named for Smith’s

Mark Tuffin is the new head of Smith’s Food and Drug stores, one of which is located at Kimball Junction on Uinta Way. Kroger Co., which owns Smith’s, made the appointment. Tuffin succeeds Jim Hallsey, who is retiring after 50 years with the company. Tuffin has been with the company since 1996.
