PCWBN Woman of the Year Nominations

The Park City Women’s Business Network is accepting nominations for the PCWBN Business Woman of the Year Award, an annual award created in Memory of Candy Erickson, a Park City Councilwoman who died of colon cancer complications in 2011. PCWBN asks those submitting nominees to visit the website and fill out an online application. Questions include telling about the nominee, the ways the nominee participates with community and why the nominee deserves to be Business Woman of the Year. The group holds monthly meetings for members, with the next meeting at The Farm at Canyons Resort on August 16 at 11:30. About.com names Park City a top resort town

About.com has named Park City as one of the ‘Top 10 Ski Resort Towns’ in a recent article published on the popular topics website covering issues from parenting to technology to travel. Park City was named a top resort town along with Aspen, Colo, Jackson, Wyom, Lake Placid, NY and Stowe, VT. In the article, Park City is described as having a population of 8,000 people and "three of the best ski resorts in the nation: Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley Resort and The Canyons."

High West offers ‘American Prairie Reserve’

High West Distillery announced its newest whiskey, American Prairie Reserve Bourbon, created to raise awareness for the largest wildlife reserve in the continental United States the American Prairie Reserve in Montana, according to a press release. American Prairie Reserve was started in 2001 and will protect more than 5,000 square miles of open space on the Great Plains of northeastern Montana. High West American Prairie Reserve Bourbon is a blend of premium bourbons, a six-year-old and a 10-year-old.
