Chico’s now open at Tanger

The Tanger Outlet Center at Kimball Junction announced this week the women’s clothing store Chico’s, is the newest addition to the outdoor mall. The grand opening was May 18.

Kamas rancher now Angus certified

T River Ranch in Kamas is a new member of the American Angus Association. According to a press release, the Saint Joseph, Mo.-based American Angus Association has 31,000 active adult and junior members and is the largest beef cattle registry association in the world.

IRS Open House in SLC today

The Salt Lake City Internal Revenue Service office at 50 South 200 East, will host an Open House on Sat., June 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., to help small businesses and individuals solve tax problems. IRS Open Houses help taxpayers and businesses work through their problems and walk out with solutions, a press release said. For example, a taxpayer who cannot pay a tax balance due can discuss with an IRS professional whether an installment agreement is appropriate and, if so, fill out the paperwork then and there. Assistance with offers-in-compromise will also be available. Likewise, a taxpayer struggling to complete a certain IRS form or schedule can work directly with IRS staff to get the job done and more.
