Chamber Business After Hours Mixer
The Park City Chamber/Visitors Bureau will host the "Business After Hours Mixer" on Thursday, March 22 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Silver Restaurant located on Main Street. "Business After Hours Mixers" are social events, coordinated at member locales through the Park City Chamber/Bureau. Physician Group of Utah announces new physicians
Physician Group of Utah announces that Park City locals Robert S. Powel, MD, and Tanya Powel, MD, have joined Salt Lake Senior Clinic at Jordan Commons. Physician Group of Utah is a team of health care professionals committed to quality and excellence in patient care. Dr. Robert Powel is an internist specializing in geriatrics. He received a medical degree from Brown University. He then completed an internal medicine internship and residency at Miriam Hospital, affiliated with Brown University. Additionally, he completed a geriatrics fellowship at Brown. Dr. Powel’s special areas of interest include diabetes, heart disease and thyroid disease. Dr. Tanya Powel is an internist specializing in adult medicine. She received a medical degree from Brown University. She also completed an internal medicine internship and residency at Miriam Hospital, affiliated with Brown University. Dr. Powel’s special areas of interest include type II diabetes, obesity and heart disease. She is a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners. The Powels moved to Park City in 1990. City Creek Center in Salt Lake City opens
On March 22, Salt Lake City’s City Creek Shopping Center, the only shopping center scheduled to open this year in the United States. The $1.5 billion project will be one of the largest mixed-use developments in the nation, complete with a sustainable, walkable, mix of residences, offices, and retail stores on 20 acres of land stretching across three blocks of downtown Salt Lake City. 80 stores and restaurants will line the pedestrian walkways, linking Macy’s and Nordstrom’s.
