Kopischkes look for mission trip sponsorship
The Park City Chamber/Bureau announced that local photographer Corety Kopischke and his wife are headed to Latin America with a mission organization called Juvenet.org in February. They will be doing work to help the people of Chimaltenango, Guatemala.
According to the press release, they will build a home for a widow of the Guatemalan civil war, distribute goods to local underprivileged schools and spend afternoon with a large group of handicapped children. Park City Food & Wine Classic tickets on sale
This summer, the annual Park City Food & Wine Classic will take place Wednesday, July 9, through Saturday, July 13. According to a press release, it will feature tastings, seminars, multi-course meals and outdoor hiking and riding excursions, led by some of the world’s best chefs and sommeliers from top restaurants, breweries, wineries and distilleries.
Tickets are now on sale, and a percentage of each ticket will benefit the People’s Health Clinic. Last year, the festival raised more than $30,000 for the clinic. For more information or to purchase a ticket, visit http://www.parkcityfoodandwineclassic.com.
