Chamber/Bureau holds mixer

The Park City Chamber of Commerce/Convention and Visitors Bureau will host a Business after Hours Mixer and Professional Services Expo on Thursday, May 30, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will take place at the Yarrow Hotel and Conference Center located at 1800 Park Avenue. The event is an opportunity for Chamber/Bureau members and the community to mingle and enjoy complimentary food and beverages, a cash bar, and drawings for prizes for those who attend. Park City is top 10

This month, Park City was named a top ten finalist in Outside Magazine’s "Best Towns" competition. The winner will be decided via Facebook voting where participants can vote for their favorite finalist. The magazine selected America’s top ten best towns based on nine categories including food and nightlife, access to green space, skiing, biking, surfing, paddling, running, great gyms and sports shops, and low commute time. The winner of the "Best Towns" competition will receive a feature story in the September issue of Outside Magazine portraying the reasons the destination was selected for the honor. Edge Steakhouse earns Utah Best award

Edge Steakhouse, the newest fine dining concept located at 3000 Canyons Resort Drive at the Westgate Park City Resort and Spa, has been awarded the Best of State Statue (BOSS) by the Utah’s Best of State Premier Recognition and Awards Program. The BOSS trophy is presented to the most outstanding gold medal winner in each division of the Best of Utah Awards. Edge Steakhouse was chosen as the best restaurant in the State from over 70 Gold Medal Finalists in the Dining Division. Westgate also collected a total of seven Gold Medal Awards, including Best Steakhouse, Best Fine Dining Chef, Best Destination Spa, Best Fitness Camp, Best American Pub and Best Gourmet Burger. The Best of State Judges search for organizations that excel in their business endeavors using innovative methods while also contributing to a better quality of life.
